    CASE REVIEW

    Case library and review standards

    1. SourceEvery film is an openly licensed radiograph from Wikimedia Commons. Each case links to its source page, author and license.
    2. SelectionA film is included only when the source description states the diagnosis and the finding is visible. Films with arrows, circles or labels burned into the image were excluded so the answer cannot be read off the picture.
    3. AnnotationsEvery case has at least one annotation marking the finding that supports its answer, placed against the source description and checked by overlaying it on the film. Annotations stay hidden until you answer.
    4. ContextThe clinical line above each question comes only from the source description. Where the source gives no history it stays neutral, so no invented history is attached to a real patient’s film.
    5. ReleaseThis library has not yet been reviewed by a radiologist. Cases remain a preview until that review is complete.
    6. DisputesFlag a case from the answer review if a diagnosis, annotation or teaching point looks wrong.
